Critique Meme Result #1
I've had a fever for a couple of days (oddly no other symptoms) and I haven't felt like doing much but sleep. But based on your suggestions in the critique meme, I was inspired!

The full-size is NWS for artsy boobs. Yes...it's a pinup, which is contrary to much of what I said I'd do on my own time...but it started as figure practice and I liked where it was going.

Key things you advised me to be more conscious about:

+ More size variation in lineart widths (moar thin lines)
+ Try more graceful, delicate subjects and characters
+ Less idealized figures, for the love of God draw an A-cup, vary body types (I think her leg is still too long but oh well D:)
+ I tend to have TASTE THE RAINBOW colors within skin-tones, restrain them a bit to prevent the image from appearing overworked
+ Have backgrounds more often

...But crap. I forgot to address the lineart suggestion in this drawing (Seee, this is why I needed your critiques :B)...but what I draw next will focus just on that. So - thank you all very much for your help!

I agree "delightfully natural"

Also, where do you get your textures?

Some are photoshop brushes, everything else is good ol' cgtextures.com.

"I tend to have TASTE THE RAINBOW colors within skin-tones"

Huh? You draw some of the most varied skin tones I know of. You've done pale, you've done tanned, you've done light, and you've done dark. Skin tone selection is one of the last things you need to work on, IMO.

Hope you feel better. Been having similar symptoms. I guess it's that time of year.

Not ethnic skin tones, it was in reference to pictures where the lighting is unnatural in excess to the point of overpowering the image.

Oh, I see what you mean now: the lighting interfering with the other work. Okay, I can understand that.

(Frickin' fever is messing with my brain.)

this is without a doubt the strongest piece I've ever seen you post here.

I like it. The shading adds depth without becoming distracting. I guess the only comment I would have would be to tone down the red of the hair and that the introduction of the blue headband, while a very nice color on its own, clashes with the overall warm color palate that you have adopted for this particular piece.
