I also wanted to say, I used to get REALLY annoyed (like drama-queen annoyed) when online-people would call me a "he." I now think it's funny when people call me a dude after seeing my artwork. It makes me feel like I somtimes manage not to have a distinctively girl or manly look to things I draw...which makes me happy because I used to draw oh-so-girly, and I've always been a bit tomboyishy.

That was the point! A few months ago I entered a book illustration 'contest' for Maddox's upcoming book. I didn't get picked, but he did display one of my submissions (there were hundreds of entries so I had to freak).

I just thought it was funny 'cause my crap was talked about on that fan-page.

Wow, that one by Angelo Vildasol is really good. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use the smudge tool like that.
